An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Ayrshire Urgent Care Services (AUCS) Operational team, for Receptionists/Call Handlers.

The role will be first point of AUCS service ensuring calls are directed to the appropriate pathway. This will include reception duties, data input, inbound and outbound call handling. You will have frequent contact with patients, members of the public and staff. At all times they are expected to act in a courteous and professional manner.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative. You should demonstrate the ability to prioritise workload and be able to organise and be efficient in your working.
You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake any training considered appropriate for the role.
You will be required to work as part of an integrated out-of-hours team, able to work collaboratively and in partnership with other team members.
Posts vary from 16 to 37.5 hours per week, various shifts over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week including public holidays.
A car driver is essential for this role.
